This is the 16th time that Morrison Homes has earned the title of Builder of the Year, Large Volume, consecutively winning the Builder of the Year Award for the past three years. Logel Homes also earned its third consecutive Grand Award, walking into the evening with 12 finalist nominations in categories spanning the gamut from Best Apartment Style, to Best New Multi-family Home Design, Best New Sales Team and Best Sales and Information Centre.

“This year, the judges had the very difficult task of selecting the grand award winners, as all entries and finalists delivered fantastic projects. The smallest margins separate the winners and runners up and in close competitions like the BILD-CR Awards, this often motivates the industry to continue to strive to be the best collectively, year in and year out,” says Brian Hahn, CEO of BILD Calgary Region.

The annual awards celebrate the best in new homes, renovations, community development, design, innovation and residential sales and marketing.

The winners — there were 59 in total — were whittled down from an initial pool of over 570 entries and a subsequent list of 239 finalists, adjudicated and chosen by more than 100 judges.

Morrison Homes also picked up awards for the Best New Home $350,000 to $389,999 for its Tsumagari Residence project, Best New Home $729,000 to $827,999 for The Ellsworth and the Best Print Marketing Award for its 15 Time Builder of the Year print advertisement, while also earning 10 finalist nods across several categories.
